Yeah I didn´t see the bad defense either. He tries hard. He actually overdid the help in the 1st half, which left Richardson´s wide open, so more a case of bad reads than effort. He can definitely move the feet to stay in front of guys, but he struggles with screens a bit. He´s also making all the right plays on double teams, but the rest is shooting 14-38.
WCS is letting those guys get prime rebounding position.
Brunson might be in that awful spot, where he´s far too good to be a back-up, but probably not exactly what teams look for in as a starting PG.
one of those stretches right now where we cant get a good shot off. and worse we cant secure a defensive board.
Btw if we were to trade for OPJ, just get Gafford too. In five years we can say it was the Gafford trade.
Put the point forward JJ in the game. If Brunson and Burke aren't getting the shots, get the shot creator to get it running.

I doubt anyone would make him the focal point of a trade for a high end player, but you have to hope that he’s tantalizing enough to someone hoping that he does have more to give in a larger role and will consider him as a nice piece/sweetener in a trade.
Our bugs are just over-exposed without KP.
