First time poster...long time lurker.  I apologize in advance if this has been shared in the past but I felt compelled to join so I could express a few thoughts.

The level of courtesy and knowledge on this forum is truly amazing.  I typically visit this board and Cowboys Zone during certain times of the year (draft, TDL, etc.) and the difference between the two is night and day.  Cowboy Zone has become unreadable (just take a peek and you’ll see what I mean).  I would guess 90+% of the posts are negative and the level of venom between posters is toxic.  I have tried my best to remove negativity from my life and feel like I need to take a shower every time I leave that site.

This forum could not be more different.  While there are occasional differences (which is understandable among passionate fans), the level of respect is quite admirable in a typically anonymous environment.  I would also add that when following threads, I often feel quite dumb.  The level of knowledge on this board is quite impressive and I feel like it has enhanced my game watching experience greatly.  In fact, the knowledge here is so high that I sometimes wonder if posters ever leave their houses.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thank you.  I’m sure there are others like me who tune in for perspectives and insights and this forum is TOP SHELF for that purpose.  Keep up the good work.

Welcome!  This is a pretty unique place among message boards.  Thanks for saying so.

BTW, we know who you are.  A text goes out to everyone when someone new posts for the first time (it is part of what keeps things civil)

Ah you caught me! Well at least COVID gives me a good excuse now to never leave the house.

The pandemic has definitely contributed to increasing my recent time on this forum. I’m sure this is true for others, too.
