The offball defense is a joke. Leaving one of the best shooters in the league open again and again but the even bigger problem is that they cannot stop cuts.
Hard cut to the basket. Easy dunk or layup. For all the onball switching they are doing they seem unable to do the same off the ball.

In my opinion, that's because too many Mavs players are afraid to give a hard foul.

Brunson might make some bad decisions sometimes but at least he is not afraid of the moment. That´s why he is playing in the clutch and that´s why Wright who refuses to take open shots or create of the dribble is on the bench.
