Because after all, All-Star stats > winning actual games.

I think it's important to Luka. The kid isn't even 21 and got screwed out of the all-star game last year. Let him have his moment.
Exactly...keeping Luka happy is the top priority of this Franchise IMO...plus he gets to hang with other top players which doesn't hurt also for recruiting top stars to play here...
It might've been said already, but Luka needs to strengthen his feet and work on his balance asap.
I've had similar problems with wobbly ankles, until a physical therapist showed me some simple exercises, which worked wonders. Aterwards, I literally could land on other guys' ankles as if it were even ground.
Maybe Luka came back too early as well?

2nd injury happened in practice, but Luka appeared on every injury report with his ankle despite being back on the floor. I mean what is the point of putting him on the injury report, if he is 100 % healthy.

Could you elaborate on that a little, please? I had also problems with my ankles and try to strengthen them to prevent further injuries...
Sooo, your first post on a Mavs board, and that's what you chose to comment on?

Yeah, right...

Actually I've been here for a while, but could not use the old account and had to re-register...Kindly remind you that I'm not a Jazz-Fan at all, more a fan of the music...should have re-introduced myself, sorry! long time-Dirk-Fan and looking forward to a new era with Doncic and hopefully Porzingis!
Oh, well, sorry man, didn't think that was a genuine question...

The easiest way to strengthen your ankles at home is to simply stand on one leg, barefooted. Try to keep your toes flat and especially don't use them to keep your grip. Balance your weight between your heel and the outlines of your sole.
If that's too easy for you, close your eyes! Stand on a towel, pillow, or something similarily unstable.

Do that as often as you can, and you'll feel muscles around your ankles, which you've never even noticed before.

This is really great advice, thank you so much! I understand it seemed kind of a weird question but I love to play the game of basketball and ankle sprains bothered me a lot...sorry for being off-topic, from now on will definitely comment on Mavs-related stuff, promise!
Here's to hope that Luka can stay away from those ankle turns for the rest of the season!
I think it's a virtual lock he plays against the Kings even if he is minutes limited just because the optics of sitting out real games and having the meaningless All-Star game be your first action does not look good.
YES!!
