Worst injury in the NBA. Hurts for Powell too as athleticism is a big part of his game. On the books for 3 more years after this season which looks over for him. JJB is still doing JJB things this year. Powell is a hard worker, hate to see it happen to a guy like him.

Powell was not going to get traded this year anyway. The hard part is that his contract looks terrible if he comes back as a guy with no vertical.

I want to know if the Mavs had any information on a minor injury prior to the game. He hit the floor untouched two times before the injury.
3rd time he tore his achilles.
This is a awful injury. Praying for a quick and full recovery.
