Who was the "player of the game" who elevated their game to help the team win?

Luka this time. He was just making magic and lift the team

Luka with his 11th triple double of the season and a much better final 5 minutes tonight.

I hate giving Luka the Dirkie, but he was just a bucket (two free throws, ahem) from the 40 TD.

I love to recognize those other than Luka when they do something great compared to their norm, but only one player did that tonight and that was an epic performance by Luka. His third quarter was really something to watch, even by Luka Magic standards but his fourth quarter was more important! That is when we opened up the game.

Luka today but Maxi gets an honorable Dirkie for his last two games. Teammates robbed him and choked away the win.

Luka. Oh my. What a dominant performance, especially the 3rd quarter!

Tim  ... much needed spark on beginning of the game mavs missed so much with him being injured.

Damn, that was something!

I just really want to reiterate that, while every other phase of his game was really wonderful, those missed free throws annoyed the crap out of me.
