Lively doesn't have Gafford's or Zubac's strength or bulk. He has both beat on height, foot speed, and athleticism though to cover guards and wings on closeouts. I'm not sure the Mavs even want Lively to bulk up with more muscle to restrict his quickness and movements on defense.
