Crucial game, given how brutal the Mavs’ December schedule is.
Kyrie Irving (right foot soreness) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (back spasms) are AVAILABLE for tonight’s game against the Jazz.

Grant Williams (right knee soreness), Josh Green (right elbow sprain) and Maxi Kleber (right small toe dislocation) will be OUT for tonight’s game.

Interesting...time to see if Grant Williams' recent contributions have actually been as underwhelming as they've seemed.
Inability to turn crazy hot shooting into a run is telling the story of the season. Jazz are 8/10 from the field. Mavs are scoring but somehow most possession still feel like they are defending in transition.
Bench finally getting some stops. And immediately the Mavs have a double digit lead.
Not able to watch, but following the play-by-play feed. Can anyone explain to me how the hell Lively has no rebounds?
OMax playing physical defense in the pick and roll really stands out compared to the rest of the game. Even if he gets screened he is quick to get back in the play.

Taking himself out of position. Trying to challenge shots. Like the activity but a few plays reminded me of McGee.
Great starting lineup with Exum...this would be my preferred 5 for the rest of the season. 3 guards who can handle the ball and make plays combined with DJJ and Lively's length and athleticism. No boring/limited 3 and D players who are too small for their positions and can only do anything on offense when they get served a wide open three (GW and Green)
- Exum is more of a glue guy than Williams or Green. Better defender and passer. But I would assume that better teams can take advantage of his shooting.
- Luka is just having fun. Headband + dad strength. Maybe that is going to unlock MVP Luka.

If Exum can shoot the 3, that lineup can be crazy good.
So much playmaking with Luka, Ky and Exum.
It also helps DJJr can also handle the ball too.

.. and so much better going to the rim.
Whenever Exum is on the floor, the pace gets faster and more chaotic (often in a good way).
John Collins doing his best to end all trade talks on this board.
It's over...sit Luka, 25 minutes tonight would be a good cap after 46 in the last game
No clue why Taylor Hendricks isn't getting more minutes. Collins and Fontecchio are beyond bad. Mid 10s Mavs logic. Cannot develop rookies because they have to play mediocre vets like John Collins.
Down 30 and all of a sudden Dunn and Sexton want to act tough. Should be happy that tanking is a thing. Otherwise they wouldn't be in the league.
This might be the worst defensive lineup we can put on the court without Hardy.

Nah, O-Max can defend all 5 opposing players by himself.
only 2/9 tonight but Exum absolutely needs more minutes
Good things happen when he's out there

Might have been late with the post.  The lineup was Powell/Luka/Timmy/Kyrie/Curry.
Luka is amazing. He recorded the first 25 pt triple-double in the first half in league history.
