Things even out.

I want to be on this side of perspective, but given that the Mavs literally haven't added a single new thing scheme wise offensively AND defensively I just can't get there.
Can we not assume Maxi is the defender we’ve seen in the past until he shows it going forward? That drive from SHAKE MILTON right past him, he just stood and watched happen.
Minnesota is killing them in the paint. Mavs shooting jumpers.
I know that Kyrie can make all kinds of difficult shots. But that doesn't mean that he has to take as many of them.
rough start. No movement on offense...very little easy looks. Minny getting whatever they want on offense. Nice ball movement.

Maybe they are serious about starting two rookies. If they are, let them learn on the fly. If not, this teams needs to build some chemistry. Looks very disjointed so far.
All of Williams' threes coming from above the break. He's better from the corner. Kidd knows that, right?
Watch the Mavs go on a 25-0 run after Grant finally hits not one but TWO threes in a row.
G-Will!!!

3-point savior!

Well, except the Minn coach called a timeout to correct what's going wrong before it gets out of hand.

Remember when the Mavs had a coach who could do that? Those were good times.
He hasn't done anything, but Hardy just moves at a different speed out there. Just pure energy.
It's early right? 1st preseason game.
Outside of the Gobert trade, Minny has done a real nice job building that roster. The main issue is come playoff time Gobert is not as big of a factor in the playoffs and Towns has come up small. But they have a nice group of talent.

25-0 run?  I'll take some of that bet.
Dallas' spacing is so, so, so terrible. That's not something that depends on the team playing at maximum seriousness or even caring about the results. It's just basic, general basketball.

He needs to find a way to stay on the floor on defense. More often than not it feels like he doesn't know where he is supposed to be.
Seth might have some trouble getting his spot back from Hardy when he misses his usual games
Nice pick and roll from Hardy/Powell there.

That will be key for him.   He is a at least a 20 pt a game scorer in the nba.  The question is can he stay on the floor.

Minnesota looks sharp. Getting good looks on most trips down.
Oof, Powell picked up OMax man, OMax should have picked up Towns. Rookie mistake, lets go rook!
Dallas up to 32% shooting. Minny down to 52%.

When's the last time Luka went an entire half with no assists?
