I think that Atl-Hou trade is also part of this deal. But lets wait to be sure
Collins HAS to be on the move. Has to be.

I don't think Cuban wants to add the longterm salary, but...I'm holding out some hope for Wood for Collins. Or even Wood/THJ for Collins/Bogdanovic, I suppose.

I like Wood's talent more than collins, but I just think you need to come out of this deadline with Hardy being the only "project" on the roster if you're serious about winning now. Collins is way, way more "ready now" and their games are pretty similar.

I also think Collins has a much better chance of being effective at the 4 some.
Hawks doing their best cost cutting.

It's tough to do the math right now, but they've shed about a million so far.
Remember when everyone was questioning the selection of Green over Bey?  Not so much any more. Give Bob credit.

I blame the Pistons player development. Bey is getting worse. The idea that players wil improve when they get freedom to just chuck away without any offensive system in place is off. Feels like all of their young guys are hitting walls 2-3 years into their rookie contracts.
Cunningham doesn´t look great for a first overall pick. I am really high on Stewart but they are asking him to play out of position and it is clearly hurting his game. Hayes looks like Ntilikina turned into the primary ballhandler.

A trade was probably the best thing that could have happened. Instead of trying to turn Bey into the next Tatum/Brown he can focus on the stuff that lead to him making all rookie 1st team. Less self created attempts. More 3&D.

I 100% agree with you. When was the last time a rookie from DET really shone? I can't really even think of one the last 10 years.

In fact, every single one of the guys that has made an NBA career has done so after they've left in a trade. Last 10 of their picks:
22- Jaden Ivey
21- Cade Cunningham, Luka Garza, Isaiah Livers
20- Killian Hayes
19- Sekou Doumbouya
18- Bruce Brown
17- Luke Kennard
16- Henry Ellison
15- Stanley Johnson
14- Spencer Dinwiddie
13- Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
12- Andre Drummond, Khris Middleton

So out of 10 years, maybe 6 guys have made a lasting NBA career, and all but Drummond did it with other teams (Maybe Kennard as well if you want to be generous).
