Yeah, they gave him an open lane to the rim on the last possession and he had no idea what to do. Super frustrating.
He did do some good things tonight though.
And of course not a single off-the-ball postup in the second half for Luka

Two of Bullock's open threes in the 4th were the result of Maxi passing up an open wing three. And if you want to make fun of that late Dorian turnover, that's probably on Maxi there and probably should have never gotten to that point as he turned down an open lane earlier in the possession. Way too timid.

To be fair. Mavs played way better with Powell or Kleber at center. Wood was bad. He had a quick scoring run in the 2nd half and Kidd probably should have gone with the hot hand but he also was a disaster on the defensive board. Not sure if he had one successful boxout in the entire game.
If he wanted to make Kidd´s case about winning plays, rotations and fundamentals he couldn´t have done a better job.
