Luka is amazing. But Boston is fine with Luka getting his and turning everyone else's water off. Dinwiddie is the only one helping.
DFS has been so useless. Can't create, can't even defend anymore. Same with Bullock too. Then there's Powell.
Still early in the season but it's very concerning.
It will take ages for many to realize it because defense is all about reputation but both DFS (to a lesser degree) and Bullock (even THJ is better) are net negatives on defense.

This Boston style offense is the type of offense I always hoped we would morph into. Instead we have collected limited players and are mainly an isolation offense.
I have no idea what Bullock needs to do to lose his starting spot…but we have reached that point. There needs to be 2-3 changes in this starting lineup.
The goal is to surround Luka with 3&D wings.....right now he is surrounded by ?&? wings. It is ugly.
Pretty impressive to have Luka who is so so damn good and look completely overmatched against really good teams.

The most played 4-man lineup for the Mavs is Luka-SD-DFS-RB having logged 274 minutes (not counting this game) and it is atrocious defensively allowing 111.6 pts/100 possessions. That foursome is the root of the Mavs issues IMO. Have to break it up.
Got SD and RB off the court and starting being competitive.

Kidd will just go back to the same stale lineup to start the next game and every 3rd quarter. Rinse and repeat.
I guess we can argue if this is a good or bad team but this isn't a contender, not even close.
