I actually think removing Wood (at least temporarily) was the right move tonight. He was starting to make some mistakes.
I wonder if we'll see him again tonight.
Seems like a bad sign if Luka has to drop 40 every game just for us to have a chance to win even against "bad" teams.
If only we had another guard who could reliably score 15-25 points and carry the offense in stretches.

Right here. His defense isn´t anywhere close to last years. As of now he has the worst defensive on/off on the team and todays game won´t change that. Something isn´t right if the guy that is supposed to be the best perimeter defender is tanking like this.
You can see why teams are winning against the Mavs.
Their game is based on Luka and the 4 shooters camped at the 3 point line.
If the other team doubles on Luka, the others have to make a 3.
Luka tries to make something and the other 4 just stands around. No variety.

Teams that are supposed to tank would have home court advantage right now. I expect things to normalize as the season progresses but maybe we are witnessing a changing of guards. Young blood taking over.
