Big talent downgrade for Denver. Seems like Dallas isn´t the only team that is trying to save money. Morris would be a great Brunson replacement but I don´t see a way to get involved.
We will see.  Morris is a real nice backup point guard, but that is about it.    I have never been swayed by Barton.

We will see what else Denver does.   KCP getting open looks in Denver could be pretty helpful.  But Denver drafted Braun who could win some playing time next year.  In addition, there has been some chatter they may have interest in PG Micic overseas whose rights are held by OKC.   I have no idea if he is an NBA player but that would make sense getting off Morris contract if they thought so.

That deal favors the Wizards to me. They needed a starting PG, since Raul Neto is a FA. Morris can fill that spot, Ish was primarily a backup.and Barton is 2 years older than Pope, who's slightly better on D, but they have similiar games.

Morris is to good to come of the bench but not quite good enough to be a full time starter on a contender.  Basically what George Hill used to be. Certainly a lot better than Ish Smith.
Nuggets fans hate Will Barton. But I am not sure if KCP is a big upgrade. Better on defense. Slightly better shooter. But Barton is a better shot creator and playmaker.

I think you aren´t off when you point out that Denver has a number of guards that deserve minutes. Braun is one option and they still have Hyland one a rookie deal. Even more important at some point Murray will return.

Honestly surprised that the Mavs aren't on that list.
