I travel on business a lot and would love to be able to listen to the Mavs while on the road.

I have tried streaming the video and just listening to the audio, but it buffers constantly because of the huge amount of data being streamed.

Does anybody know a way to stream the audio from either a video stream or from a Mavs radio broadcast for free?

TuneIn claims they can for $9.99 a month but first that's a lot of money for two or three games a month and second I've read a lot of complaints online where people signed up for TuneIn and then found that their team didn't have anybody streaming the audio, even though TuneIn claimed they had streams for that team. Both NBA and NHL.

Thanks!
Nobody, huh? I guess I'm a dinosaur.
Tunein it is I guess. It's not just NBA,so maybe you will like it.

Just try the free trial ?

Otherwise try to find an app where you can listen to

MAVERICKS RADIO

The Mavericks home on radio in the Metroplex is ESPN 103.3 FM (KESN). ESPN will broadcast all preseason, regular season, and playoff games. All preseason, regular season, and playoff games will also be broadcast in Spanish on Univision Radio 1270 AM.

The thing is that when a Mavs game comes on it plays different programming than the game from what I've heard...

No idea, haven't ever tried that yet, just went on a journey to solve his problem.

You can also listen to games on the NBA Android App.

Might be the case that you are forced to use tunein when using an app. I'm not sure about the webstream.

Guess someone has to verify tomorrow

From what I've got there once was NBA league pass audio for 10 bucks for the season. That doesn't seem to exist anymore since the tunein deal.

ESPN 103.3 gamestream just runs locally through the app at least, you need tunein, there are no other legal options.

Otherwise you need to find a stream of the local ESPN 103.3 broadcast.
Thanks, everybody.

As Clutch said, once the game starts, 103.3 starts streaming something different on the web. I don't think they're allowed to stream live Maverick's games, or maybe they don't because of a rights issue, or the Mavs don't pay them to.
Should ask Audiosway, he's guaranteed to know!

Not sure if these stations work or not but have found a couple that do for Cowboys games.
