This is the new leaked Mavs jersey. If true, what does everyone think?They kinda have that Fresh Prince of Bel Air vibe imo.

It took a long time for R&D to develop something more heinous than the trash bag jerseys, but they've finally done it!

Was that jersey actually used? This is my first time to see the trash bag uniform. That's beyond hideous.

How can the Mavs design department be THIS bad? 

Like is it so hard to bring back the green? Or just make a clever design? The most creative jersey they've made the last 8 years is the skyline one and even then that was a fan created design that won a contest.

It's not, I've had experiende designing professional icehockey jerseys in Germany where you have to integrate all the sponsors. Plenty of talented people out there. 

It's the same reason there are ugly website or ugly cars. Mostly it's the customer or the executive making bad visual decisions.

I am being optimistic that Mark is just waiting for 2020 to unveil a new era timed with starting a new decade, with updated branding (logo, jerseys, etc).  This is the only reason I'm bearing with the "summer league" statement jerseys and potentially this city edition crap

Yeah, I really like them as an occasional option. But then again I'm partisan to the 90s.

I've heard that the city jerseys are designed to capture some element of a local's culture. The Dallas city jersey is based on Deep Ellum graffiti art.

I don't think they are as bad as everyone is making them out to be.  Are they a classic look?  No.  But they aren't supposed to be.  I like the colors and I am not put off by the graffiti font.  I really like the way the color changes from bottom to top with the full uni on.  (I like KP's look in the full image).  I am all for adding the green into the color pallet whenever possible and brighter shades of green have been increasingly popular in uniforms for a while now.  I think MIN has an entire jersey of that color!  It is a fun alt.

I like these, Adidas has nicer jerseys than nike.

I just want the "statement" jersey to have the classic GREEN in it.

I actually don't hate them, and also think they look better as a full uniform than just the jerseys alone.  I just wish the lettering was done by an actual graffiti artist rather than the stock font look.  It was a missed opportunity, IMO.
