Who was the player of the game who elevated his game to help the team win?

KP all the way. First 30+ game since April for him

It always feels a little strange to not vote for the guy who had a 30-point triple-double, but KP was just awesome out there. And that Luka/KP P&R was pretty much unstoppable.

KP was good, but you just don't ignore 32/15/12/2 with only 2 TOs.
Still fat, but this is MVP Luka we've seen tonight.

MVP Luka isn’t that far from average Luka in my opinion. KP tonight was better than I thought his best game would ever be. Easy choice.

Logically, I think Luka deserves it. But, I can't deny KP my vote tonight. I just can't. He was better on defense tonight than I literally ever thought he would be again in his career, and offensively, we FINALLY saw evidence that he and Luka can complement each other.

I was trying to understand the logic of the post I was responding to. So I was asking if that was his logic....which for the record I completely disagree with.

Mybe, but it could be toons of different scenarios to cover this tonight KP's (+-) stat.
Positive highlights and stats are beautiful marketing tools to feed consumers. Stats are caught consequences of some acts packed into numbers, not acts for themselves. To pull out absolute truth about the acts from them you have to dig deep deep to find only one scenario.

I was talking about HIM. His post. I think he's saying KP wouldn't be -50...etc.

Great point Shadow. The +/- of KP is -5. It tells again how noisy this stat is as mavslurv also pointed out. KP was along Luka the best player in this game.

Basically, Luka and KP combo looked like two superstars that will destroy the league.

It is that Pick and roll we always wanted to see. Another thing, is Luka finding KP under the basket, where he is impossible to stop.

KP in the post some distance away from basket is really really easy to stop. KP close to the basket? Almost impossible.

As many ackward things there are with this new scheme there are many positive directions as well. It gets KP the ball closer to the basket, and they are starting to play Luka and KP together in the plays.
