I wish they could make the statue's size proportional to Dirk's importance to the franchise, but then that would mean having to find a way to fit the arena inside the statue so probably won't happen...

I know we've seen photoshops but Reunion Tower could be repurposed as a basketball that could be in Dirk's hand as he's doing his signature fadeaway. A 600ft Dirk statue is commensurate.
I hope this will be towards the end of the season and they give a lot of warning. Would love to find a way to get down to Dallas for it.
They should do a statue every year for the next 21 years.
