Insurance in case Green doesn't pan out.
Wouldn't really matter, doesn't move the needle even for a tiny bit.
Low risk, low reward.
Right fellas?

I know it's preseason and probably doesn't mean anything, but he had 21 minutes of PT, tied with JB and WCS for most minutes this first preseason game.
I can already tell JKidd likes him. And for good reason, coach Kidd knows the guy.

That reverse dunk should tell fans that he isn't just going to jump shoot his way the likes of THJ and Reggie. Dude is fearless. He is also quick and knows how to dribble, his handles are more advance than any of the Mavs SGs sans Burke and maybe Frankie. He is going to get some points un-assisted, he is going to get points going to the rim and in breaks, he is going to help with bringing the ball up, he can defend, basically the things asked of JR. Hopefully he can play make a bit. But that will come in time.

And he can shoot from deep too.

I'm calling it now, fans will love this guy. Hopefully, the other Brown turns out okay too.

On another note: how about that past midcourt assist from Eugene to Hunt?
Ya, Eugene is a Draymond Green starter kit.
