Never a good thing to be playing in Denver  Undecided
I was wrong for both Por and Pelicans games, so I vote Denver :-)
Not too confident about this game, honestly. But i guess it's a good matchup for us to measure ourselves against two teams that are locks for playoffs in both Portland and Denver.
I predict a Boban sighting
Early season conditioning is a challenge on this one. We haven't had any two day breaks yet and playing in the altitude can be tough even when you're rested.
Nuggets will be on a b2b. So it will be tough like always in the mountains, but we have a chance.
Nuggets haven't looked like they're in full gear yet. Jokic is a concern for us, though he's a concern for everyone
If the Mavs don't devolve again into settling for too many deep threes, I'm saying there's a chance! Big Grin

Hopefully this is where Boban gets some good burn. If Boban can't make Jokic work some then I don't really know why he's on the team at all. It's curious that even with Whiteside out there that Boban didn't get any minutes.
Denver opened as 7.5 point favorites.....down to 6.0 points already. The money likes the Mavs to at least hang tight.

Can't underestimate the effect of 2nd night of back to back.

Still will be interesting how our low stamina boys deal with the altitude.

Vintage Peja?
I think we'll keep it within 10, but I don't see us winning this game. Denver is a really good team with good depth and playing at home. I'll be thrilled to be wrong if the Mavs pull off the upset.
Gonna need something out of THJ or JJax to hang tight, or a superhuman game from Delon.  The Nuggets are deep with wings.
Kings up at half vs. Denver. Don't think they are unbeatable. Certainly have a shot.

Last @Denver game was the Jokic game winner. And i dare to say our roster is much better now.
I am coming around with hope for a win. I think our team is good enough to beat anybody anywhere when we play well AND do the little things that lead to wins...you know, like DFS finding a way to pass instead of going to the basket where he very consistently fails.
There were numerous little things we blew but the good news is that all of our excellent play almost won anyway!
Mavs are deep enough to get er done at altitude. Nuggets will be whimpering and crying and screaming. Like a dog. Like a coward.
Probably a good sign for us that the Nuggets pulled it out against the Kings. That might make them lazier here on a back to back. They've been toying with losing but haven't actually lost yet, kind of feels like they're due. And when I see the results of the who is going to win poll I feel even more confident because you guys are a bunch of freaking idiots  Wink Tongue

And the Mavs sometimes have a habit of winning or losing when most least expect it, though some of that is just the nature of the NBA season
