Crucial game. Winner of this one will take the series, imo. Let's see how the improved defense look like.

Clippers made all the right adjustments. The best way to play us is to let Luka get his and send wing defenders to take away everyone else. Defensively they moved to small ball early and exposed KP allowing themselves to get whatever they wanted in the paint........this is the game where we see how good this squad of ours can be. Really nervous and excited for this one. Let’s go mavs!

Last home playoff win was in April 2015, time to end that streak tonight. Must win game.

Glad the Mavs have been underdogs every game this series. We were all too high. The Clippers are too good and the Mavs aren't good enough to be sweeping them. That being said the Mavs still did themselves a huge favor getting the first two games. Clips have to win this game but Mavs have basically 2 games to win one. Whoever gets to 3 wins first should win the series.

For KP he has to play aggressive and not worry about fouls or he is unplayable. When he gets into foul trouble Mavs can go smaller which they want to do anyway. This allows him to save face in that he's "only getting sat" because of "foul trouble," not because he's playing terribly.

On offense no more forced touches. If he can't seal his guy deep then he won't get the ball.

Luka has to drive to the basket all game and target PG specifically. Kawhi will be on KP and you could switch onto him but he is going to be tougher to drive on successfully and refs don't want to call fouls on Kawhi. Luka already owns PG so I think it's an easier task to get him to 4 fouls so that he can't play as much in the 3rd quarter or has to play super soft. The Clips role players will have more confidence now so you really need to get one of KL or PG in foul trouble to make life easier. Mavs throw a fair number of doubles at KL and should be able to closer out more easily if PG isn't on the floor (and KP will get less minutes).

Just here appreciating the series. Numbers overall are insane. Kwahi and Luka are insane. I mean dude is averaging 38,9,9. I knew it was gonna be a fight but this is amazing. Hoping Mavs somehow make it out. Something is got to give eventually. Kwahi, Luka or 3pt shooting. Somebody has to have a bad game?

Ya I think at least one of Luka, Kawhi, PG has to have a bad game. It's not sustainable that all 3 stars could be playing this well. Also remember the further you get into a series the more it turns into a rock fight where offense becomes harder and harder. That will effect the looks each guy gets. Luka is now banged up but KL and PG are also sort of permanently banged up these days.

Yep, the Clips destroyed the Mavs in the paint.  That can't happen tonight.

Well..I guess it's pick your poison. You either shut down the paint, or the 3 pt line. You can't do both.

I only paid attention to Porzingis at the start and I have absolutely no idea what the point is. I could do his job. He jogs up and down the floor with Batum. He is not involved offensively or defensively. If Carlisle and Porzingis are not even going to make an effort to involve him at all on either side of the floor, I don´t understand why he is out there.

The guards and wings are just taking the bigs off the dribble. Mavs can't guard them.

Sadly, these are the Mavs we know from this season all too well....
