Who was the player of the game who elevated his game to help the team get the win?
Honestly again THJ and Luka get the Dirkie.

This time I'm putting Luka in the poll though. How can I not with some of these rainbow shots he's throwing down???

Also that highlight dunk that should've been an and-1.
Luka nd THJ carried the load, but JRich came to the rescue when both faltered at the line and had the most impactful 9 points you'll see in a long time. I give Luka the Dirkie, but JRich may just deserve credit for the W.
I gotta vote for Richardson

4 CLUTCH free throws to ice the game
Luka is the engine but I will give it to THJ, so good.
Tough choice between Luka and THJ, but since I voted DFS last game I went Luka this time.

I do know, however, that it doesn’t go to the Mavs FT shooting or coach. Bring back Gary Boren!
So far in this series, Luka has been better than Kawhi Leonard, and believe it or not, THJ has been better than Paul George.

I went with THJ for this one.

2nd place to the strippers at that strip club where KP went
Luka was absolutely phenomenal, gotta give it to him. But the whole team takes opportunity of everything that comes to them. Everyone had a great offensive game.

Seems like we flipped from last game Big Grin (though in my defense I did give co-dirkie!).

If THJ keeps this up this series he is becoming exactly what we've all been clamoring for the whole season conjuring up mock trades for Beal and Lavine.

I hope the rowdy crowd at home will just further fuel his fire!

This. Looking at the numbers it is close and Kawhi is obviously still a way better defender but that´s not the whole story. The Mavs put Maxi or Melli on Kawhi and live with the results. He makes incredible shots against good contests. If he drives the defense collapses late and tries to limit kick out opportunities. The Mavs aren´t changing the entire defensive scheme to stop Kawhi. It´s still man defense.
Luka on the other hand is the single focus of the Clippers game plan and they still haven´t found anything that works. They are trapping him. Trying to blitz him. Doubling. Changing the matchup. Nothing works. He dictates the game. It´s not RC that needs to make adjustments. It´s Lue. Luka is forcing the Clippers bigs of the floor. When the bigs are out he is going after the smaller guards and takes advantage of PatBev and Jackson. And if nothing else opens up he still scores on above average efficiency against PG or Kawhi. The complete package on offense.

I love what THJ did tonight. The Mavs would have lost without him. And, I’m starting to think, pay the man!  But, there’s no grading on a curve in the playoffs. Luka was the best player on the floor, no doubt.
I can’t vote against a guy paving his road to true greatness. The Dirkie has to go to Luka. THJ played the Jet role. J Rich has earned the job of closer!
Once again, Kawhi was the second best player on the floor. THJ was the third best player on the floor.

Luka was the best player on the floor, and on his way to being the best player in the NBA.
Gotta give it to THJ again - I always said he's the x-factor and he, again, delivered. We go as far as he goes, tbh.

To clarify: I might never give Luka the Dirke because he can not surprise me anymore. He's a demigod and I expect nothing short of perfectness from him, so that's his life-time-Dirkie right there.

Honorable mention: KP keeping his poise and scoring 20 efficient points. It's big that he's accepting his role. I know he's getting abused on D but in a more favorable matchup, he can go back to being option number two on this team.
